Love the service! It has a very well-defined boundary that grows all the time. If you live in Queens or Brooklyn west of the 278, you are nuts to use any other service but this for quick hops.

car2gos app is easy to use and is always improving.

Service is great, app is kluge. Now that many cards dont accept key cards has decreased accessibility.

Nice little app and easy to use. I prefer the version with typing code to unlock car as it works more reliably. Love car2go generally, though even more if prices came down a little.

I am reluctant to write a real review for fear of retaliation from the staff. Incident happened that a Good Samaritan found my wallet in a car2go after I left it. He found a business card called the business to tell them he found my wallet and was leaving it at the car2go office near where I left the car. The business called me with the good news. Called the office for car2go (somewhere in Texas) and they said the office was closed no one was there they know nothing about the wallet. I went to the office directly and there WAS staff there but no wallet. Somewhere between Good Samaritan and car2go my wallet went missing. I think they kept the $200 cash and all my cards at car2go. It was way too fishy and suspicious. Im dont with them.

Wow this app is bad- wheres the support ? Wheres the ability to edit payment? Why allow us to park in dead zones that arent accessible to the network and result in fees or frustration?

When my wifi is off (with my cell LTE internet) I am not able to see on the map and unlock cars which are smart phone only. I hoped after each update, that would be fixed, but still isnt.

I find that the GPS in the iPhone app is lousy. Often it plots me least half a block away from where I actually am, and sometimes the cars are further away than that from where the app shows them to be. My bigger is with the service overall. I dont know if this is happening nationally, but in Minneapolis the number of available cars has been DRAMATICALLY reduced. According to the app this morning, there are only 10 available cars right now in the entire city. And thats at 6:30 AM. Whats going on, C2G?

Tried to get a car at the Austin airport. The cars are located in three different places at The Parking Spot. The locations are not close to each other and the shuttle drivers just drop you off regardless of if you are in the correct location. Had a car reserved but couldnt find it. Another user who had also looked for the same car reserved a different one but that one had a dead battery. Improve the process for finding vehicles!!

I have used car2go 3 times. 2 times it didnt work and the 4th attempt also failed. If you park anywhere near the boundary where car2go lets you end a ride, ending a ride fails since car2gos signals incorrectly think youre in the wrong location. I wasted 30 min and had to cancel an appt because of this. Customer service was nice but the hassle was not worth the time or money. This same thing happened to me a second time. The last time I tried to unlock my reserved car and the connection kept failing. The customer service rep said you MUST UPDATE YOUR APP EVERY WEEK FOE CAR2go TO WORK?! I dont have time to do that. How about you guys make an app that works without needing weekly updates and fix your geoboundaries so that people can actually use the service as it was intended. I ended up taking an Uber Pool each time and was using a version of Uber I downloaded 2 months ago and it worked just fine, and also saved the day.

Great service when it works, the issue is that it fails as often as it actually works. For every time Im successfully able to use a car, there is another time where either the app simply wont unlock car even after multiple tries, or I get to a car and it says its out of service even though it is still showing up as an in service car in the app. It is for sure the least reliable app/service I have used in a long time.

Car2Go is awesome!

C2G unveiled a snazzy new fleet of cars that was going to phase out all the issues with unreliable connection with the car receiver and now the new so wont even allow you to reserve or open the 3.0 cars. Talked to a rep who said its a known problem affecting iPhones. Im almost out on this company.

I love this service and the app has always worked well for me. Easy to find and reserve a car and even unlock it from the phone. The one thing I would like to see is an Apple Watch app. It would be so convenient when looking for cars to have it tap you when one is close. Overall, great app and service.

A simple app that has a huge impact.

Its great when the cars actually open and you can drive them but on multiple occasions Ive reserved a car only to find that it wont open. Calls to support to reboot have helped but Ive also been left stranded.

When I need a quick car to go grab something and come back and theres a car available, C2G is awesome. I use it frequently, as I live in The middle of Seattle and we have chosen to have one car. But if I need to take 2 kids somewhere, I need to use Reach or Zipcar. And even with cars blanketing the city, they are often far away. One thing Id like to see is the ability to see historically where cars get left so I know if Ill be stranded if I leave a car and try to get another in an hour or two.
